The Australian Government provides a Child Care Subsidy (CCS), to help families cover the cost of child care, including Outside School Hours Care.
If you’re eligible for the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), the amount you pay in fees could be reduced by up to 90%.
Who can get Child Care Subsidy?
You could be eligible for Child Care Subsidy If you have a combined family income of under $533,280 and meet the following requirements. You or your partner:

-
Use an approved child care service provider – MACSEYE is an approved provider!

Does MACSEYE have Child Care Subsidy?
MACSEYE is a new provider and we need to get CCS approved each time we open or transfer a service, in line with government regulations. If CCS approval has not been received, full fees will apply. Once CCS approval is received, this will be applied to fees and can be backdated up to 28 days.

How do I get CCS?
Please visit the Services Australia website to check your eligibility and begin the process. Services Australia will guide you through the process:
-
You will then need to link your myGov account to Centrelink. To do this, you will need proof of your identification and a Centrelink Customer Reference Number (CRN).
-
If you do not have a CRN, this will be created for you once you have proven your identity.
-
You will then be asked to confirm your enrolment details, which we will give you.
-
It’s a good idea to have all your documents and information ready before you start.
-
If you are eligible, the payment will be automatically applied to your fees, and all you need to do is pay the balance.
Please note it is your responsibility to keep Centrelink informed of any changes to your income, activity levels or relationship status so you can receive the right amount of CCS. You can do this through myGov.
Visit the Services Australia website to find out more about how to apply for CCS.
