Carolyn Ireland is an experienced company director with a long and distinguished career in a variety of executive and directorial roles in the finance, health, not-for-profit and pharmaceutical industries.

A chartered accountant, MBA and member of the AICD, Carolyn is currently General Manager, Investor Relations and Strategy, at Pact Group, an ASX listed entity. Prior roles have included Head of Strategy and Investor Relations at Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, Group Treasurer at Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, Epworth HealthCare and Australian Unity, and Chief Financial Officer at GBS Venture Partners.

Carolyn brings a deep experience of the education sector to the MACS board as a director of the Xavier College Foundation. She is also a director of International Women’s Development Agency, an aid agency operating across South-East Asia, and director of Defence Health, one of Australia's largest private health insurers, where she chairs the Investment Committee.
